In a future incel-run society, women who reach 35 without having children are considered surplus to requirements and are bricked into a wall for the rest of their time on earth. One volunteer offers to be altruistically trapped in these walls like the anchorites of medieval times but she is really part of an underground movement to try and save others who are said to have ‘hit the wall’.
